Toroslar EDAŞ balances the scheduled power outage times taking "OHS", "Consumers" and "Investments” needs into account

  • Sustaining its investment and maintenance works at full speed to provide high-quality and uninterrupted energy to a population of 8.5 million people in Adana, Mersin, Gaziantep, Hatay, Osmaniye and Kilis, Toroslar EDAŞ announces the necessary scheduled outages to carry out these works 48 hours in advance to avoid any inconvenience

Toroslar Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş. (Toroslar EDAŞ) optimizes the timing and total duration of the mandatory scheduled outages to carry out investment and maintenance works, so that consumers are least affected; and Toroslar EDAŞ announces all scheduled outages 48 hours in advance on the Toroslar EDAŞ website and Toroslar EDAŞ 186 Mobile Application.

Toroslar EDAŞ serves 8.5 million electricity consumers in 6 cities in Turkey including Adana with a line length of approximately 146,000 kilometers and a distribution network consisting of more than 47,000 substations and other elements.

With the goal to meet the increasing electricity demand in line with the increasing population and the increase in the average consumption per capita in Turkey as well as throughout the world, Toroslar EDAŞ carries out intensive investment and maintenance works in this regard.

Attaching utmost significance to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) while maintaining these highly dangerous activities, Toroslar EDAŞ determines meticulously the interruption times of the scheduled outages, which is vital for the life safety of field workers.

On the other hand, the Company puts all efforts to limit the interruption in electricity supply, which is significantly important for all areas including safety, health, communication, air conditioning, etc., and the inconvenience to consumers to a minimum.
